Growing up, we had about seventeen guys named Johan in our circle of friends. They all had nicknames or were addressed by their last name if it did not conflict with another last name, which was sometimes the case.

Truthful Tuesday
- Sometimes I heart your TT post without reading the whole thing in the hopes of you having written “Those who heart this are assholes” at the bottom of your very long post…
- I haven’t had a single alcoholic beverage since Orlando. One week. Trust me, it’s something of an accomplishment.
- I can’t help but being slightly resentful towards Jill’s mom for not being there for Jill when Jill is trying to plan our wedding. I think it’s selfish and petty and her mother should apologize and try to be happy for her daughter.
- I lay in the couch with my knees tucked towards my chest and one hand between my thighs. It keeps my hand warm and also prevents my bony knees from grinding together.
- I was terrified when I started my new tattoo.
- I miss having somewhere to shoot my longbow. There’s something very serene about archery that strikes a chord in me. Pistol shooting relaxes me as well, although not to the same degree. I think it’s the lack of noise in archery that appeals to me.
- Sometimes I miss the distinctly different seasons in Sweden.
- I haven’t been out stream fishing since my dad died 25 years ago.
- My dad died a quarter of a century ago. I still miss him.
- I have noticed remarkably lower anxiety levels from not drinking.
- I am really excited about getting married to Jill. I think our wedding is going to be awesome, and I can’t wait to put a ring on her finger. Not only that, the reception and the party afterwards is bound to be epic. Hell, we rented a lodge that sleeps 24. It’s up in the mountains. There’s a hot tub. Pool table, ping pong, and a bear pelt on the wall. I can already see somebody running around drunk wearing that bear pelt. No names, Azzman.
- If you read all the way down here and still hearted this, I love you.

I miss Sweden now. I would see gorgeous sights like this as a child. The photographer, Karil, is from Finland and has some stunning winter imagery available in the gallery. Check it out!
