br-chesterfield replied to your photo: I got a pair of Vibram FiveFingers KomodoSport…
I think the Five Fingers are great but take it slow and avoid pavement if you can. In April I started at a 1/2 mile jogging and built up to 4 miles over 5 weeks all on pavement. I ended up with a stress fracture in each one of my feet.
Holy shit! I will keep this in mind and stick to dirt/grass for a few weeks. I plan to use these or a pair of KSO Trek when we go to Snowbird in Utah this October. I plan on hiking as much as I can when we are there.
Given, I don’t run/jog in these, so I am probably less likely to get stress fractures.

I have a pair and love them (though I don’t run in them either) I would also just note about pavement, walking on pavement is fine, but in the summer the heat does get transferred to your feet because of the thin soles so it can get a little toasty.
