My thoughts on politics in America
They are all the same.
At least, the 2 major parties members are all the same. What they say is different but what they do, once in office, is nearly identical.
For instance, President Obama ran on “Change” and promised sweeping reforms. Once in office, he adopted 96% of the policies that Bush had set post 9/11. Yet Republicans bemoan his leadership and Democrats praise it.
The romans had spectacles too. We just migrated them from gruesome, bloody battles to televised election debates. Just one great show.
