Child support update
Alright, so I called the corporate office to verify that the payments are going out of my paychecks as they should, and they are. Then I called the county child support enforcement to check with them and apparently they have received all the payments up until now. Apparently I owed back child support for June and July. For some reason they didn’t start garnishing until August. Y U BE SO CONFUSING?!
Apparently I only owe around $600 since part of my tax return was applied to pay for the back support. My case manager said I could pay $50/month and they won’t take me to court. Well, thanks for nothing.
Did I mention I hate this system?
