I go to hs.fi (website of the largest Finnish newspaper) to catch up on news and while I’m there, I often check out their forums where people discuss the current events. You’ve probably noticed that most people are really fucking dumb. And it would seem that especially those who post their comments on sites such as these are exceptionally fucking dumb. And reading the conversations always make me wish I didn’t live in this country inhabited by these dimwits. I don’t know how these racist, misogynist, homophobic honkies have managed to master the use of computers, because most of them haven’t got a fucking clue how to use their language. In fact, the comment that most often pops into my mind is “Finnish, motherfucker. DO YOU SPEAK IT?” It makes me angry. And then it makes me sad. These people with backwards, hateful opinions are allowed to vote. They are allowed to raise children. And I promise to never to return to the website, but I always do. (And those of you from Finland probably know that I’m specifically referring to the Hazard-Halme mess. Good grief.) You should try America for a change. You get the whole range between “funny stupid” to all-out “scary stupid” wherever you happen to venture online.
