So sad and angry right now…

Just got a text from a friend about a mutual acquaintance whose teenaged son killed himself on the weekend.

He left a note. Apparently he was gay (his parents had no idea about that, apparently) and was being bullied (online and off) by a group of boys in his school. He was 15.

I met this boy once, when he was younger. A lovely, good-looking, soft-spoken kid. I just can’t believe it.

To add extreme insult to injury, apparently someone spray-painted their garage door last night with the words “1 less fag.”

I can’t stop crying, this is just so awful and wrong.

Part of me just wants to take all these kids and drop them off outside of the roughest gay S/M leather bar I can find and let all the dudes inside know that there’s a bunch of gay-bullying assholes outside. Yet, another part of me wants to find out why they are fifteen and perpetrating such horrible acts against other children and scoop them all up and put them in homes that teaches them something other than hatred.

You know what. Fuck religion. Most of all, fuck any doctrine or tenet that teaches you to hate/shun/dislike people based on their beliefs, their gender, their sexual orientation, the color of their skin, the color of their fucking hair.

So, all you fucking cunts out there that are reading this, go find a gay person and hug them and tell them that you love them. Because you know what, karma.
