Hacker-feat of the day
So, I assume some of you know that I am living with a roommate. Here’s the thing: no internet here except for my EVO 4G with tethering and the Sprint Hotspot feature. How to connect my Xbox 360 to the Internet without a wireless connection? That’s a conundrum, ain’t it, folks?
I installed dd-wrt on my router, set it up as a client bridge, enabled everything known to man on it, and set it to connect to my EVO 4G. Tried to connect out through a PC. Worked like a charm. Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr all came up squeaky clean. Fine I say and yank the cable from my laptop and slam it into my Xbox to see what happens.
My Xbox connects, logs me in, and the next thing you know, I am watching a movie through Netflix on my Xbox. I think I am going to chalk this up to a total WIN.
