Christmas Road Trip
I really can’t wait for Christmas to roll around. I will leave Charlotte for Salt Lake City on December 23rd. Then I am spending Christmas with Jillzey and her family after which we are going on an epic road trip to get her car all the way to Charlotte. I have always wanted to drive across the United States. Now I get to.
Fortunately we are not going through the Rockies or the Great Plains, because that would be kind of stupid with inclement weather and all that. We’re heading south to hit 40 and then taking that all the way east to North Carolina.
I guess we’re starting from Flagstaff, AZ, then I will get to go through Amarillo, Oklahoma City, Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville. Fuck, I could write a song about that trip. Oh, wait. I think someone already has. ;-)
