I think the Five Fingers are great but take it slow and avoid pavement if you can. In April I started at a 1/2 mile jogging and built up to 4 miles over 5 weeks all on pavement. I ended up with a stress fracture in each one of my feet.
Holy shit! I will keep this in mind and stick to dirt/grass for a few...
